There is a pain in being mediocre, the worst thing is that I am going through one such phase now and I am at battle with myself on the worthiness of fighting this battle.

There is a difference between a genuine challenge and an illogical job. One can strive to be stupendous, victorious and trying but the target got to be minimum logical that it can be achieved.

I am worried that service has just become a transaction and merely a means to revenue. While they transact quality is just expected to be their offering to work, alas the worst way I wish service be delivered.

An extremely fine day, after so long a time, that’s how i felt for today. Started with picking Ann from her place and we headed to Santhome for the 9:30 English mass. It was good, Church and I after sometime and i liked listening to the Christian songs and goodness uttered. Seems she felt it to be boring, but i was all into listening, somehow get very pious like, getting into this holy places!! Well, the mass was over by 10:30 and we went to check the museum behind the church and as well visited St.Thomas’s tomb. I felt happy to be at, for these are what that makes Chennai and that i got an opportunity to the same. Once the Museum visit was done, we were really hungry and starving for food, so headed to Mylapore Vasantha Bhavan, my favourite. We had a good, Poori and Onion dosa and coffee there to be completely filled and was left to enjoy the day. Well the destination we headed to hang out was city’s most famous indeed, City centre! Well, nice place and you got to give it to them for its friendliness and helping grow friendships! We went to Landmark for she wanted to gift me something that i may like, well i was’t gonna take anything, were I? we went section to section, talking on different topics and it was nice to understand each other’s little subject matter expertise. Landmark took quite some energy of ours and combined with the timing of that was “afternoon”, we thought of calling it lunch. The floor that we were in or rather were walking on had copper chimney, and that was it, so did we decide. We headed to copper chimney to feel the worldly taste of this renowned brand’s nicesome foods. The menu, well this is what we ordered, Veg Dum Biryani, stuffed aloo paratha, stuffed methi paratha, veg keema and then we were filled to the core that we had to call it quits. huh, after food, a little bit of good roaming here and there would do, and lifestyle was a good place indeed, that we ended up walking there. The idea was to get her something nice, to convince and to be deciding what we would buy, hmnn it took some time. And well, 3/4th was the decision, and so long did we look for the 3/4th pants and being shown section to sections and brands to brands, ended up at Pepe’ but well the ones that were there were not quite liked by Ann that we gave up that idea of 3/4th. My take was that a long skirt might look good on her and she agreed that we started looking for some good ones. The right way to get good stuff may not be just wait and stare at the counter but the traditional trial and error method of trying all that we kinda liked. It was indeed a good thing, that we tried all that we kinda liked, though the result being not that positive but were true to the initial standings that we did only kinda liked them, and not completely..! Well, she knew exactly what would look good on her and indeed was it the kurta kind of tops, that we selected quite some and one that was of a good grey tone was to her perfect liking, it indeed looked great on Ann. We bought that and was that all? No, then was the mighty Ann’s stubborness that she would now be the selecting panel to one that i would end up taking! hmn…, after much of my cryings, i tried a lot, but she wouldn’t listen, we headed down to the guys sections and ended up on selecting a T-shirt. I chose, tried and okeyed, but madam seemed to have felt that i am compromising, that She asked me to go on trying to get something better. it has always been difficult to get a perfect fit for me, for all big branded shirts were too broad and except for, i uttered of my brand, Indigo Nation. She checked with the counter staff on its avilablity and found out that the same was available outside Lifestyle. Hmn.., was there a choice not to go there when the enforcer is forcing you, huh no way! but had to head to Indigo Nation!! Well, we went there to look for a shirt, Ann put all her expertise in selecting a good shirt for me, indeed i liked it and ended up selecting the same. But with an offer from IN to give a gift voucher for 1500, well i had to buy for a bill value of 1500, hmn and so did she select that pinkish T-shirt for me, and its true that i bought that , just kidding, it was indeed good and a very descent color! done that, it was time for an ice cream at her favourite spot, and in 10 minutes from then, we were having the best of flavors that Ann had chosen, she got this nice taste on flavours, good work Ann! and after, were thinking to drive via the beach back to the hostel, and just then she pulled this kindness by going for a lucky bamboo for me, so kind to be wishing me luck, here i wish all the luck for you! Well its good to be positive, and with so much of her positivity, i am sure this lucky bamboo would indeed bring me all the luck that i am indeed in need. We started from there and the chill breeze of the cool beach was all welcoming us, but the sun not set gave the heat from one side, spoiling the kindness of the good breeze and so we drove all the way via Besant Ngr Beach, but dediced not to stop there but go back to the hostel were she would show me the place. Due to security reasons, there were restrictions thrown for couple of days to not to allow outsiders inside the campus, and that prevented the campus show, but much to Ann’s unhappiness. To wayne that off, we planned to chill the moment with a detour to Pizza hut. A smiley can’t stop from smiling, and in some moments, she was all of that, thanks to Pizzahut and the tiny TV’s that telecasted IPL. Hmn, she loved so much in restricting me watching over the cricket match that i had to force myself not to look at the TV for 5 minutes to be off from eating her share of the Pizza. Smiles are all that matters, and to its sweetness, does cricket matter? not at all. It was quite funny and bringing so much of laughter and life to the moment, it was the best that the day had bestowed All thats well, ends well and thanks to the excellent day and the wonderful smiley attitude that Ann carried all along and always does Is anything more required for happiness, TNR (i wont explain this!!)

Today had a wonderful evening. a meet of 3 friends after some good time. an end to just phone calls, and evening to breathe together, sharing the joys and sorrows of the moments lived in between. Jab we meet, its good time and we comprises of I, Siva and Abitha. An intellectual trio, we at least would wish to think so, rather may be it is so! good does the time go. pizza hut is a good place and us being there could make it only better. sat, ate, took pictures, talked, smiled, winked, vented emotions, expressed expressions, an evening that can actually be written to be a good evening. This was supposedly the treat that’s one mine for my elevation to a team leader. Abitha was of immense praise for the salad and the specialness of pizzahut in making the same, indeed it was good and we all enjoyed the same. It was good of the gentleman, Mr Yuvaraj, who served us and his patience is something to be appreciated, Pizza hut indeed has got good employees and this one says just that. our menu contained, veg salad, a medim veg pizza, a small chicken pizza, cheese tortilla, cheezy onion rings with alapeno, and my favourite pepsi, long hey na!! the talk gave us the space to catch up and we talked of meeting again and sooner, we are looking forward for a meet by the end of march, hopefully yes, we would.

once the meet as we had less time, though wished it to go longer, ended, said bye to Abi. Me and Siva were then heading to my home with just one stop inbetween to attend the opening ceremony of Anu’s first beauty parlor, a naturals beauty parlour. Went there, the place was filled with some good crowd, anu and others talked, and all were just showering their wishes to Anu for a good show, my wishes as well anu for a splendid show, may you be filled with parlours and better businesses soon, and wishes for it to be even more sooner, Congrats and all the best. we spent some time over there, and got back saying bye to Keerthi and collins, who we had met there. Headed back to home and in minutes, actually we were at home. Mom made best of her teas and enjoyed the same over a small chat on our plans for career and life, a short one in the short the time that we had got. Good evenings present themselves less and it feels good to be among them, wish for more. Happiness enjoyed happily and by three joyous the friends. Thanks Abi n Siva, look forward for the next meet

timeless beauty

Sometimes one knows life itself is an exaggeration, but does everybody agree? i definitely don’t!! In writing, one cant help not writing, for exaggeration can as well be just a point of view and not necessarily the author holds that.

Ahh and she spoke smiles to let me fall to the sweetness of most beauteous the voices, more once. Of many the tones of melancholy that soils the heart, sweetness is all that and as sweet as its beholder. God has a reason not to answer all your prayers, and if he had, how could one ever face him to be asking the best of what could ever be asked. Everything happens for a reason, if not to have it to my favor, i would wish to have it thought so. Though be it cruel a thought to oneself, happy shall i be with her beside even shall any my prayers be unanswered. Never have i known how dangerous smiles could be, for what on earth can you call something that gives an addiction? The sweetness of her voice just echoes in my mind, and i havent known freshness better ever. What in God made him create her, i should say, it was his best thought ever and you cant ask for a better blessing than her. Everybody boasts to have known cuteness, i bet they are hypocritical for all they have seen may never be called beauty unto her. Sciences’ Gravity may have ever failed, but not the forces that attract one to her, and i can say, Boss Newton was only half lucky. Timeless beauty and sure am i going wordless to keep abreast to its richness, its obvious that i would fail. What makes one a poet, i don’t know that, but all i know is that you cant stop being one, if she be in your world. Beauty is simple and she just is the superlative.

Man, then indeed is a Supreme Being, for his ability to imagine surpasses the greatness of anything that holds him and lets him live. Utter crap : From where to nowhere!!

Pizza is a round matter that enhances friendship, or yaar rather say fuels the energy by filling the empty spaces of your hungry stomach, ofcourse the heart as well (hungry kya?), and giving some prime real estate and breathing space while you nurture friendship! For that matter, anything that’s served over a square/circular/oval/rectangular/any geometrical shape tables are of the same noble nature!! Just that pizza is interestingly marketed better for this holy matter! Yuppie, and if pizza is the solid toughie Italian guy, so do we have the liquid pretty girly version, yepp the undoubtedly beautiful Miss coffee indeed!! Who would not love a girl, I mean coffee , haan and well when I said that, kindly switch off that devilish little thoughts of some clichéd expressions about a girlish thought being carried by a guy and not to forget to see that bright beautiful angelic geometrically perfect circle of light behind my head!! he he!! Girl, indeed a matter of pride to mankind (also womankind, for political correctness), for it is the extreme expression of beauty known and unknown to science and say conscience!! he he (For God’s sake believe me, that’s an angelic smile)!! He who has to be appreciated would none be other than the one who created the most beauteous the creature, I mean the extremely creative designer in God. Oh my God! You are awesome! Fun becomes more fun, and only when it isn’t organized but happens on its own. The day one of the new year, was quite so for us, and the “us” comprises of some garden fresh souls aka new acquaintances. Though the subject (Vinod) was put to little harassment (version .0001), well we choose to call it the “pullin ‘o’ legg”! and it was indeed fun. The Golden heart of friendship, also of our friend Vinod was well given an opportunity to be revealed, he grabbed, no we made him grabb! . Fun could only be an understatement, and the day did receive us with quite the best of beginnings. May the year hold more such days for all the good hearts that were part of it and i wish us all a Wonderful year ahead.

Oh and not writing anything about friday would be a sin, for goodness not said out of laziness is enough an act of Sin. We had a wonderful day at office, thanks to the HR team, we had together planned for a POTLUCK and happiness did we dig, the happiness of working together as a team. While work is all that we are at office for, for the humans at work we had an event that would bring our humanly the emotions and the sense of sharing, in a way to express our love and care. It was a wonderful evening, and wound not be less wonderful until the same is replaced by one thats better. Food of all types, and more than what we could eat, people had a day and their stomachs had best the food. Home made, mom made, sister made, friend made, servant made, chef made (hotel indeed except for one of my friend who was as well one) they did consume quite some real estate!! The best part this time was food was served and with heart by our own friends, cant expect anything better.
